The Station is worship centered event that got it’s inspiration from The Basement from Birmingham, AL. The Station debuted on August 15th, 2009 with hundreds of teens from across the region gathering to worship God. The Station is a place to give teens to spend their Saturday night and brings more than what parties and other activities offer. With every Station comes another example of God’s love and drama, music, and fun for the whole family.
The Station currently meets at New Salem Baptist Church in Iuka, MS.

“It is said in the Bible that faith can move a mountain. How often do we truly acquire the faith that Christ talked about in His Word? As youth, we often times misunderstand, misuse our relationship with Christ. Somewhere over the years we have developed a mindset that we are to be “sane” in a church setting. We as Christians are missing out with this mindset of being a “Rational Christian”. We are to break free of the walls we have built around our so-called self-righteous lives and expand, reach, and fulfill our calling in Christ Jesus. We have become a people of tolerance rather than boldness. A people afraid to STAND UP, afraid to STAND OUT when Satan is on the prowl. Here at The Station, we encourage not only attendance, but participation. It is time that we not only show up, but time we show up and expect God to show out like He wants to do if we only allow Him. At the Station, there is no right and wrong way to worship God other than to completely sell out to Christ and see just what He can do with and in a generation of brave young men and women who care not what the person standing next to them thinks about them. We are to develop such a heart for Christ that we build our lives around Him, and not Him around our lives. The Station provides an atmosphere where you stand out if NOT worshiping rather than drawing attention by worshiping. Our generation has been called to fulfill a specific purpose, a purpose that only we can conquer through Christ Jesus. In a world of young men and women who are at such a crucial time in their lives, searching for identity, The Station points their search in one direction, to the Cross. God Bless” – Seth Kennedy
